- A first or second class honours degree, applicants must show an awareness of health or health-related care issues.
- Applicants must demonstrate competency in spoken and written English and numeracy through GCSE Maths and English at A*-C.
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS: 7.0 overall; with at least 7.0 in the listening, reading, writing and speaking sections.
- GCSE: English language grade C.
In your first year your study of children's nursing will include clinical and communication skills and ethics. Throughout the course you will develop knowledge in the principles and application of biology, physiology and pathology. During the course you will also study modules directly related to the specialist area of nursing you have chosen. There is also shared learning between mental health, child and adult fields.
