About this course
A level Psychology consists of two units in year 1, including key areas in psychology, studying the scientific explanations of mind and behaviour. This makes up 50% of an A Level in Psychology.
A2 Psychology follows on from A1 Level in Psychology. It consists of two units, including an in-depth study of key areas; Gender, Eating Behaviour and Relationships as well as research into Psychopathology, the contemporary issue of Addictive Behaviour and the Research Methods underpinning psychology. Once successfully completed, students will have the full A Level in Psychology. This makes up 50% of an A Level in Psychology.
Psychology A Level is taught at our campus in Longbridge, Birmingham.
- The entry requirement for A level is 5 GCSEs, grades C or above, including Mathematics. The applicant must have a minimum of grade B in English Language and Science at GCSE.
