About this course

At Barnfield College within ouur industry standard kitchens and with our professionally qualified and experienced chefs as lecturers will ensure you develop the skills, knowledge and flair to join this exciting area.

Our training restaurant is open to the general public and is where students learn how to prepare and serve a wide range of dishes under the time constraints and to the standard of a high profile restaurants.

Entry Requirements

Grades

  • A minimum of 4 x GCSEs at Grade D or above 
  • A pass at BTEC Level 1, NVQ Level 1 or VRQ Level 1

English and Maths requirements:

  • Minimum of Level 1 English and able to work towards Level 1 Maths
