About this course

The role of hearing in development, and the scientific basis of therapeutic interventions for habilitation of hearing-impaired children are considered in detail; students also develop skills for evaluating and interpreting research in this area, in the context of evidence-based practice; practicum and professional issues modules then develop clinical competency in auditory verbal therapy; students must register for, and complete, the certificate stage; direct entry to the diploma stage is not permitted.Qualification
