About this course
Computer scientists are required to have strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail and most importantly creativity. As a computer science student at Webster University Thailand, you’ll develop and hone these skills to become an IT professional in a number of key areas. Through hands-on training and study, not only will you build general knowledge in computer science, but you’ll also develop expertise in a number of other areas. This includes computer architecture, software engineering, programming, telecommunications and data structures.
Webster University’s BS Computer Science program aims to create the next generation of IT professionals and future leaders in the computer technology sector. Graduates from the program will be versatile, creative and action-orientated professionals that are able to solve a vast array of IT related problems in their respective professional environments.
- The minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4 point scale, or its equivalent. Academic achievement in programs that use a different assessment scale is evaluated in the context of the relevant academic system.
- Applicants with grade-point average of less than 2.5 are eligible for conditional admission consideration.
- The English language proficiency minimum requirement is a TOEFL score of 550 points on the Paper-based test (PBT) or 80 points Internet-based test (iBT) or an IELTS score Overall band 6.0.
- Students whose English language proficiency test scores do not meet the minimum requirement will be assigned to an English as a Second Language (ESL) course as per ESL policy.
