The study of business administration refers to developing the knowledge and skills necessary to run or significantly contribute to a business. Rather than just focus on one particular component of business operation, successful business owners are able to think strategically and consider all elements of their organization.
The BS Business Administration is specifically designed for students with an interest in finance, global trade and capital markets. It is also geared towards future business leaders, aspiring senior civil servants, and other leaders in today’s globalized society. Webster Thailand’s Business Administration program takes an interdisciplinary approach and allows students to study subjects such as accounting, economics, finance, management, international business, and information systems. Students will also have the opportunity to develop their communication skills, critical thinking and decision-making.
Offered by the Walker School of Business & Technology and accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration is a strong foundation for individuals seeking to enter the employment market. - The minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4 point scale, or its equivalent. Academic achievement in programs that use a different assessment scale is evaluated in the context of the relevant academic system.
- Applicants with grade-point average of less than 2.5 are eligible for conditional admission consideration.
- The English language proficiency minimum requirement is a TOEFL score of 550 points on the Paper-based test (PBT) or 80 points Internet-based test (iBT) or an IELTS score Overall band 6.0.
- Students whose English language proficiency test scores do not meet the minimum requirement will be assigned to an English as a Second Language (ESL) course as per ESL policy.
