About this course

As the world is becoming rapidly globalized and digitized, individuals and companies are forced to become more innovative and dynamic. With a Bachelor of Management with an emphasis on International Business, your degree from Webster University Thailand will provide you with the skills necessary to navigate and succeed in this ever-changing environment. This includes skills such as leadership, interpersonal communication, marketing, negotiation and cross-cultural sensitivity.

Furthermore, you’ll also acquire knowledge of broader international management issues such as economic activity, growth, determination of income, output, inflation, aggregate demand and supply, banking and international economic issues. You'll also learn about the management-employee relationship, how to motivate employees and labor-management relations. As students progress through the course they’ll also learn the fundamental principles, analytic techniques and theories used by management professionals across the world. This will be taught through case studies and hands-on experience with professionals currently employed in the sector.

For successful completion of the course, all students are required to study a foreign language. It should be noted that students whose native language is not English and who are studying in English will be considered to have achieved their foreign language requirement. However, it must be noted that this is dependent on successfully passing an ESL test for English proficiency.

Upon graduation, Webster students often find employment in a range of private business operating on a global scale. Many also pursue careers in the public sector or trade associations. Previous Webster International Business graduates now work in such fields as international accounting, import/export compliance and international banking.
