Entry Requirements

  • Foreign qualifications recognized by the University of Zurich must primarily be based on general education.
  • Must represent the highest possible graduation diploma from a high school or secondary school in the respective country and entitle students to a place at any university faculty and to any field of study in that country.
  • Proficiency in German and English

Curriculum

  • A minor subject can be chosen from any of the faculties of the University of Zurch and counts for at least 20 ECTS credit points from a total of 180 points required for the Bachelor’s degree.
  • The course begins with lectures in Analysis and Linear Algebra as well as the introductions into Programming and Logic und Set Theory. From the second semester onwards, lectures courses are to be taken on all central areas of Mathematics; these can be increasingly freely chosen from a wide choice of optional subjects. Students are trained in giving presentations on mathematical themes in a seminar.
