About this course

Geography is the study of the space and the places we live. Geographers describe spatial variation and explain the relationship between regional phenomena and human population. The field of Geography includes various research agenda about the human environments (such as rural, urban, transportation economic, social, cultural geography), the physical environments (such as geomorphology and climatology) and research methodology (such as cartography, remote sensing, and geographical information system).

Entry Requirements

  • Foreign qualifications recognized by the University of Zurich must primarily be based on general education.
  • Must represent the highest possible graduation diploma from a high school or secondary school in the respective country and entitle students to a place at any university faculty and to any field of study in that country.
  • Proficiency in German and English
