About this course

Tourism is the fastest-growing industry in the business world. Our Bachelor in Leisure & Tourism Management program provides a solid foundation in the theory and practice of tourism management and prepares you for a successful career within the tourism and leisure industry. In addition to industry-specific modules, our course options will enable you to develop a range of business skills applicable to the wider commercial market.

This six-semester BA program prepares students to work in diverse sectors of the travel and tourism industry such as hotel management, event management, tour operations, resort management and convention management. It includes courses in recreational facilities management, tourist destination management, geography of tourism, tourism and the environment, tourism and public policy, wildlife tourism, urban tourism and the legal aspects of recreation and tourism.

Entry Requirements

  • Students must be in the final year of completing or have already completed their high school (or equivalent) degree.
  • Applications are considered on a rolling basis, applicants are evaluated on the strength of their applications as a whole and consideration is given to the students’ qualities and abilities: leadership potential, academic achievements, performance on standardized tests, extracurricular activities and other personal experiences.

Proof of English fluency:

  • TOEFL score 213 (computer-based), 80 (internet-based); 
  • IELTS 6.0; 
  • CAE C; 
  • PTE 54; 
  • English native or equivalent.
