Admission criteria

For the Postgraduate English Language Programme (Postgraduate

ELP), applicants should have a minimum of English language

proficiency (e.g. TOEFL 480 PBT (157 CBT, 54 IBT) or IELTS 5 or

equivalent). On the first day of term, all students including those

who do not have an official proof of English proficiency will be

given an English assessment test.

The Postgraduate ELP can be completed in one or two terms

programme. Provided that the required level of English proficiency

is attained (TOEFL 550 or IELTS 6.0 or equivalent) by the end of

the 11-week or 22-week course, students will be admitted to the

Postgraduate Diploma programme.
