About this course

About this programme

This programme is suitable for high-school graduates aiming to build a career in hotel and restaurant management. Our diploma graduates gain supervisory or management training positions in large and medium-sized hotels and resorts, and in a wide variety of restaurants and catering companies. The programme is designed to appeal to those with an entrepreneurial spirit, managerial aspirations and as a basis for further studies at Bachelor level. This is a dual campus programme with the first year offered at the Professional Centre in Le Bouveret and the second year at the University Centre in Brig.

Entry Requirements


• 18 years of age or over

• High-school diploma

• English language proficiency of TOEFL 500 PBT (173 CBT, 61 IBT) or IELTS 5.5 or equivalent

Applicants who do not have an official proof of English proficiency will be given an English assessment test on arrival. Those who do not have the required English level will be advised to join the Undergraduate English Language Programme.
