About this course
Students with strong interests in the fundamental aspects of physics may take the basic physics course with a goal of advancing to the graduate school and advanced degrees. Students with more practical aspects of physics in mind may take the engineering-oriented applied physics course to accommodate the latest technological research and development.

- A prospective student must either hold or be expected to hold a high school diploma or a certificate of high school equivalency (e.g. GED) before matriculating at UIC.
- Additionally, the student must be a non-Korean with non-Korean parents.
