About this course
Psychology is an empirical science that studies human behaviors and mental processes. As human behavior and mental processes can be described at various levels ranging from single neural cells of the brain to social groups, psychological sciences try to understand the biological, cognitive and social origins of normal and abnormal human behavior. Furthermore, psychology provides the basis for various academic fields that study human beings, including liberal arts, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, and the performing arts.
