About this course

Students who are majoring in Mobile Systems Engineering obtain a competitive edge with the Dankook-Samsung Mobile Research Center and Mobile App Center which offers the highest quality mobile education and development environment in Korea. The curriculum has been built to be flexible and specialized, adding business administration courses to the major program so students are not only equipped with engineering capabilities but also business mindsets to advance as global leaders.

Graduates are expected to build their career opportunities that include working for companies, or the R&D, planning and marketing functions of research centers related to the mobile communications industry such as smart phones, smart pads and smart TVs. With the growing penetration of smart mobile devices, graduates who display know how in a diverse range of solutions, applications and contents don't mention foreign language proficiency and a global attitude, can choose from more job opportunities abroad at mobile businesses and research centers.

Entry Requirements

  • General: Applicant must hold a valid high school diploma
  • Transfer (Sophomore-level)
    • Completed two semesters (one year) with more than 33 credits from 4-year universities in Korea
    • Completed two semesters (one year) with 1/4 graduation credits from 4-year universities outside Korea
    • Graduated or graduate-to-be from 2-year college both in and outside Korea
  • Transfer (Junior-level)
    • Completed two semesters (one year) with more than 33 credits from 4-year universities in Korea
    • Completed two semesters (one year) with 1/4 graduation credits from 4-year universities outside Korea
    • Graduated or graduate-to-be from 2-year college both in and outside Korea

Language Proficiency Requirement

  • All undergraduate program applicants must satisfy language proficiency requirement before they apply for admission. Test scores more than two years old will not be accepted as proof of language proficiency.
    • All programs: TOPIK 3 or above
    • Programs in area of arts, design, music, and sports: TOPIK 1 or above
    • Minimum IBT80, Combined SAT 1300 including Math 600 or above, SAT (CR+M) 900 including Math 600 or above, or ACT18 (Math sub score of 24 or above)
