OBU Stage One

  • Research and Analysis Project Seminar by FTMSGlobal Specialist Lecturer The seminar will cover:
    • Introduction and pre-requisites for the 6500-word RAP and the 2,000-word SLS
  • Choosing a suitable topic
    • Communication and preparing and for mentor meetings and the role of the mentor
    • Research Methods – Primary and Secondary Research
    • Information Gathering
    • Analysis of information
    • Conclusion and report writing
    • Writing the Skills & Learning Statement (SLS)
    • Referencing and basic IT skills
    • Report presentation
    • Submission procedures

OBU Stage Two
Mentorship Programme (face-to-face meeting + flexible timing) 3 meetings between student and mentor (30 minutes each session) and email support. Student can arrange a suitable time with their mentor for all three meetings.
