About this course

This programme is for practising teachers who would like to advance their knowledge, skills and qualification and apply them directly to their own work context.Students will be equipped with world-leading research, knowledge and tools to help enhance their own teaching practice, so that they can better achieve positive and equitable outcomes for diverse communities and learners.

Completed one of the following with a GPA of 5.0 (Taught 120 points) or GPA of 3.5 (Taught 180 points):

  • Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Early Childhood Education, Primary or Secondary)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (Secondary Field-based)
  • Bachelor of Education (Teaching) (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Education (Teaching)
  • Bachelor of Physical Education
  • Graduate Diploma in Teaching English in Schools to Speakers of Other Languages

Note: For Taught 120 points - students mush have at least one year of teaching experience. At least two years of teaching experience is required for qualified graduates of the Bachelor of Education (Teaching) or Bachelor of Physical Education.

Completed the following with a GPA of 4.0 (Taught 180 points)

  • Bachelor of Education (Teaching) (Honours)

Another tertiary institution

Completed one of the following with a GPE of 5.0 (Taught 120 points):

  • An undergraduate degree in education, teaching or physical education; or one year of postgraduate study in education or teaching and at least one year of teaching experience
