About this course

This program has a strong research focus which emphasises on building the skills and knowledge that students go through, and the provision of more demanding and intensive study. Furthermore, students will have two options for completing the program; whether they opt for either a midwifery dissertation or a midwifery thesis. The thesis option enables students to complete a piece of original research based on their thinking skills of analysis and critical evaluation.

Entry Requirements

  • Consideration for direct entry into the 180-credit Master's programme will require presentation of a portfolio which demonstrates appropriate academic and personal skills.
  • International students will be individually assessed to ensure they meet the entry requirements.
