About this course
This programme aims to introduce fellows to business and mananagement practice. Graduates from this course will be able to discuss on general management practices, communicate effectively in the business environment, work in a team, apply research skills and discuss the concepts of marketing, economics, and information technology in business perspective. Graduates will demonstrate ability to discuss general management practices, communicate effectively in the business environment, work in a team environment, use applied research skills, and discuss the concepts of marketing, economics and information technology from a business perspective. Career options include:
- Supervisor in banking
- Human resources
- Small business
- Sales and marketing
- Applicants under 20 years of age require NCEA Level 2 or equivalent NZQA Unit Standards. English is a requirement, or the NZIM Certificate in Management.
- Mature applicants need no formal qualifications, but should be enthusiastic and motivated.
English Entry Requirements
- Applicants for whom English is not their first language require a minimum IELTS score of 6 with no band score lower than 5.5 or NZCEL Level 4 with the Academic endorsement.
