About this course
To provide fellow students with an academic pathway into sport and recreation. Graduate from this programme will be able to analyse the theories of sports coaching, prescribe and critique exercise programmes, develop sports business plans, gain a thorough understanding of sports testing, use skills in research, analysis, problem solving and critical thinking, presenting written materials at tertiary levels.
- All applicants must hold a satisfactory pass in the Certificate in Sport and Recreation (Level 5) programme, or equivalence through recognition of prior learning and/or credit transfer.
English Entry Requirements
- Applicants for whom English is not their first language require a minimum IELTS score of 6 with no band lower than 5.5, or NZCEL Level 5 with an endorsement of either Academic or Professional.
