Entry Requirements

The Diploma in International Business is incorporated into the Bachelor of International Business. Students enrolling in this course will be in classes with students from both the level five diploma and the Bachelors Degree course to enhance the learning process and need to complete 14 courses to be awarded the Diploma in International Business

Although there are no specialisations available to the Diploma Students they can still incorporate the courses they want into their Diploma, for example any of the stage two management, marketing or accounting courses. Students can also take up to four courses from the Bachelor of Arts or the Tourism Management Degree.

Diploma students are also entitled to the benefits available to the Bachelor students such as free parking, internet and gymnasium access.

The Bachelor of International Business under present Immigration Law is awarded 50 points.


Every candidate's programme of study for the Level 6 Diploma shall:

  • Comprise 14 courses (not more than eight courses at Stage 1)
  • Include six Stage 1 (Level 5) compulsory courses (2.101, 2.102, 2.103, 2.112, 2.113, 2.120)
  • Include two Stage 2 (Level 6) compulsory courses (2.222, 2.231)
  • Include six elective courses of which four must be at Stage 2 (Level 6 or higher)
