About this course

In this Course, you learn step-by-step about the biological processes: from the molecular, cell and tissue level, to the most complex organs, and ultimately the body as a whole. However, you also look at the body’s response to environmental factors (e.g. diet, exercise) and unhealthy behaviour. The knowledge you acquire during the programme can be used to improve health and the performance of the human body under various circumstances. This ability to transpose knowledge of cells onto society is essential for, for example, the development of drugs, therapies and interventions relating to movement and nutrition.
