About this course
Through this programme, students can explore the world of media and its political, economic, and cultural impact as well as pursue opportunities for international exchange, and go on to advanced studies or a top-flight career in communications. Students can take a comparative, international approach at analysing the effects of increasing mediation for business, democracy, and daily lives. Students get the tools needed to adapt to the increasingly global and diverse professional environment of the communications and media professions.
The programme offers a cosmopolitan and stimulating environment, the right mix of theory and practice, flexible opportunities for specialisation, and an interactive and intensive curriculum. Graduates go on to advanced studies or a career in communications and related fields such as marketing, corporate communications, public relations, public affairs, education, and journalism.
- Students are eligible for admission to the IBCoM programme if they hold a Dutch VWO diploma, an International Baccalaureate diploma, a European Baccalaureate or another diploma that is sufficient for acceptance to a Dutch university.
- In addition students may have to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in Mathematics and English. Non-native English speakers are required to demonstrate proof of their English proficiency.
