Entry Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with Honours from University Utara Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognized by the University Senate with a CGPA at least 2.75; or  
  • A Diploma holder with ten (10) years’ working experience and minimum age of 35 years; or 
  • Any other equivalent qualification recognized by the University Senate; and 

English Language Requirement:

  • 550 in the TOEFL Paper Based Test;
  • 80 in the TOEFL Internet Based Test;
  • Minimum score of 6.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS);
  • A degree from any country with English Language Education System;
  • Any local Public Universities, where English is the medium of instruction.

Curriculum

  1. Attend and pass the following courses (if necessary) with at least B grade: 
    - Research Methodology
    - Academic Writing and/or Any other course as determined by the supervisor or Academic Committee
  2. Present and defend the proposed research to a committee
  3.  Present progress reports of research work at colloquiums arranged by the Graduate School or College
  4. Attend a viva session to defend the thesis; and
  5. Submit a final thesis
