Entry Requirements

Local Student

  • Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) CGPA 2.00 minimum;
  • Matriculation/Foundation Qualifications  
  • Diploma Qualifications  
  • Passed SijilPelajaran Malaysia (SPM) /equivalent with credit in Bahasa Melayu
  •  Other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government and approved by the
  • Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) Qualifications  
  • Obtained at least a Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

Note: For candidates who have NOT fulfilled the above requirements may be considered if they fulfill the conditions below:

  • Passed SPM/equivalent with credits in Bahasa Melayu or credits in Bahasa Melayu July Paper; and
  • Age 21 and above; and
  • At least 3 years of experience in any of the creative area, namely film, music, theatre, animation, media, arts and others; and
  • Passed interview session.

International Student 

Having other qualifications recognized by the Government and endorsed by the UUM Senate.
