My son returned after a 3 week break to Sunway. Before he left they reviewed his paperwork to make sure everything was ‘in place’ for the following semester. They assured him everything was fine. Well, two days before returning for the new semester, they sent him an email stating his passport needed to be renewed. Although he immediately began the process for renewing his passport, it’s still isn’t sufficient for them. He was denied attending this semester. What happens now? It’s not fair. Why do we have to pay for someone’s negligence? My son is not from there. Don’t know what to do. No parent should have to go through this.
Sunway admissions and finance offices should be kinder and more helpful when they receive calls. The times I’ve called, I spend a lot of time trying to explain or get them to understand my reason for calling. This happens before I am forwarded to someone that might be able to help. When a parent calls inquiring about their children’s status or anything to do with enrolling, they should be helped immediately without an exhausting language barrier struggle.
