About Southern University College

Southern University College or formerly known as Southern University Institute for Southern College, was established in 1990 and became Malaysia’s first private higher education institute. This non-profit institution reaches out to students who were not successful in being enrolled in local and foreign colleges or universities. There are currently about 57 programmes that also involve 42 MQA accredited course programmes, 9 SPACE programmes, 4 SMYCE Programmes, and 2 SITE programmes.

In its 10 hectares property, the Southern University College has a breathtaking natural scenery that duplicates that of the Suzhou District, China. Other than that, students can also immerse in a relaxing learning environment with beautiful replicas of Chinese gardens, a recreation park, pavilions, and other garden landscapes.

Quite nice building with Chinese cultural design but need maintenance. Mostly Chinese but also with some Indians and Malays. Dorms with card access security. Toilets at the main hall corners at the end. Hard to locate.
