Entry Requirements

  • Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or *EQUIVALENT with five (5) credits:
    • Bahasa Melayu
    • Mathematics (Elementary or Additional or Modern)
  • Either one (1) of the credits below:
    • General Science
    • Biology
    • Chemistry and Pass in Biology
    • Physics and Pass in Biology
  • Credit in two (2) other subjects
  • Pass English

AND MUST POSSES EITHER:

  • Pass STPM or *EQUIVALENT with a minimum CGPA of 2.50;
  • Pass ‘A’ Level minimum Grade C in three (3) other subjects;
  • Pass Matriculation in Science with a minimum CGPA of 2.5;
  • Pass Foundation in Science with a minimum CGPA of 2.5;
  • Pass Diploma in Science with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 (credit transfer is not allowed).

AND

  • Pass in MUET with a minimum of Band 3 / Pass IELTS with a minimum of 5.5 / TOEFL with a minimum score of 515/215/80.

International Students:

  • Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or *EQUIVELENT with five (5) credits:
    • Mathematics (Elementary or Additional or Modern) (MANDATORY)
  • Either one (1) of the credits below:
    • General science
    • Biology
    • Chemistry and Pass in Biology

AND MUST POSSES EITHER:

  • Pass STPM or *EQUIVALENT with a minimum CGPA of 2.50;

AND

Curriculum

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Hons) programme has been designed to prepare nurses for entry-level professional practice. The program structure enables the nursing graduates to be prepared for all types of hospital setting. Upon successful completion of the programme, students are eligible to sit for the Malaysian Nursing Board Examination to be licensed to practise as a Registered Nurse.
