About this course
The Department of Political Science upholds the University’s founding spirit of independence of learning and the establishment of autonomous civil society. This spirit is reflected in the lofty ideals of analyzing actual political phenomena in close cooperation with economics and developing education that can be disseminated from Japan to the rest of the world. This Department has carefully prepared systematic, step-by-step curricula well suited to political science, a complex discipline covering a wide variety of fields, including systems, theory, history, thought, and regional/international relations. Students can participate in small, select seminars and other educational settings designed to develop human resources who can think independently and professionally about political phenomena.
