Curriculum

  • In the first two years, students study many subjects such as foreign languages, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. As for mathematics, they learn the following basic topics:
    • Calculus of one and several variables
    • Linear algebra
    • Complex function theory
    • Set theory and general topology
  • After studying foundations of algebra, geometry and analysis during the third year, a senior student proceeds to an intensive study of a very specialized topic in a seminar.
  • We have a series of courses named "experimental mathematics" in which mathematical objects such as figures and equations can be visualized by a computer. We also have many exercise courses for better understanding of mathematics. A very active second or third year student can take honors seminars.
