The university provides a wide range of degrees in subjects grouped into five Colleges: Arts and Celtic Studies, Business and Law, Human Sciences, Life Sciences and Engineering, Mathematical and Physical Sciences. UCD is Ireland's largest and most popular university. There are over 5,000 international students studying in UCD.The school provided basic facilities, for example library, campus bookshop, restaurant, bank service, sport and fitness, computing service and etc.
Belfield, the main University College Dublin campus is located on a 132 hectare site, 4km south of Dublin city centre. The campus in an attractively landscaped complex of modern architectural buildings, accommodating student residences and numerous leisure and sporting facilities. The UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business is located on the campus at Blackrock, County Dublin.
The campus can be reached by various public transport such as Aircoach shuttle from the Dublin International Airport, train from Connolly Station or Heuston Station, buses, taxi and car.
University College Dublin (UCD) has set aside a large proportion of on-campus rooms for international students. However, the places are limited and the University unable to guarantee accommodation to all international students. UCD has campus accommodation for over 2,500 students in halls of residence and three, four, five and six-bedroom self-catering apartments. These are spread across five locations, with 300 places located on the nearby Blackrock Campus
Besides that, University College Dublin also offers catered accommodation with meals provided in Roebuck Castle and Muckross Halls.
