About this course

This vocationally-oriented programme aims to equip students with the professional knowledge and skills to pursue careers as practising environmental engineers and to assume professional leadership roles in the industry. The curriculum provides extensive coverage of and multi-disciplinary perspectives on various environmental and sustainability issues, training students to be professionally competent as well as socially and globally responsible. Topics cover water and wastewater treatment, air and noise pollution control, sustainability development, project management and more. This programme is also accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) and the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE).

 

Entry Requirements

International Students:

  • Applicants with academic qualifications obtained in secondary or tertiary institutions outside Hong Kong will be assessed individually by the departments concerned.
  • IGCSE, GCE, International Baccalaureate (IB) or other overseas qualifications which are comparable with the required levels of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education will be accepted.
  • IELTS overall score at 6 or equivalent.
