About this course

This programme equips students with strong scientific knowledge and practical skills in Aircraft Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Practices and Engineering Science. At the end of this programme, students will be prepared to take the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD) HKAR-66 CAT B1.1 aircraft maintenance license examination. Upon successful passing of the required professional examinations, fulfilling practical training and working for a minimum of 2 years in Hong Kong CAD recognised aircraft maintenance organisations, applicants can apply for the HKAR-66 aircraft maintenance license from CAD.


Entry Requirements

International Students:

  • Applicants with academic qualifications obtained in secondary or tertiary institutions outside Hong Kong will be assessed individually by the departments concerned.
  • IGCSE, GCE, International Baccalaureate (IB) or other overseas qualifications which are comparable with the required levels of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education will be accepted.
  • IELTS overall score at 6 or equivalent.
