About this course

The degree course “Maschinenbau / Mechanical Engineering“ is a joint Master program between the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, USA, and the University of Stuttgart. In this way, program participants from Stuttgart and Atlanta are given the opportunity to spend two semesters each at their own university as well as at the partner university and in so doing to acquire a joint degree from two renowned universities. The Georgia Institute of Technology can regularly be found among the top places in international university rankings. The excellent research environment contributes towards this as well as the good staff-student ratio in teaching and an attractive campus life. Numerous research groups are located within the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering that deal with the basic principles and applications of mechanical engineering on an interdisciplinary level, in so doing contributing towards the development of cutting edge technologies.
