About this course

The Master in Geography provides a research-based, significantly methodologically, more inclusive education with thematic priorities (majors) in Environmental Sciences and in human geography. Here, the focal points are based on the current research priorities in the corresponding areas.

The consecutive four-semester study program M.Sc. Geography - Focus Human Geography provides a research-based training which prepares for university and non-university scientific or science-related career fields. The master's program enables students to an in-depth analysis of the relationships between society, economy and space, particularly with regard to globalization and sustainability. Object of study are particular phenomena of urban and regional development as well as social and cultural theoretical issues. 

Entry Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in fachrelevantem area
  • Bachelor final grade at least. "Good"
  • Proof of sufficient knowledge of English
