About this course
The curriculum of the Bachelor's program in sociology is divided into modules. In the first four semesters, courses include the sociological theory of social science methodology, social science statistics and empirical sociology. In the fourth semester, in-depth elective modules such as sociology, applied and interdisciplinary key qualifications are to be completed. A work placement is part of the program; and the program is finished with a thesis.
The following are parts of the application process necessary for admission consideration:
- Common Application
- Educational History Form (EHF)
- Certificate of secondary school completion such as the German Abitur (i.e. International Baccalaureate, High School Diploma (with recommended tests depending on your region), GCSE A-levels, etc.)
- SAT or ACT
- English Language Proficiency Test
