Entry Requirements

  • GCSE: Grade C or above in English Language and Mathematics, or equivalent. Please note that for entry to this Foundation Degree the University will accept Level 2 Key Skills, Functional Skills or Certificates in Adult Numeracy and Literacy as suitable alternatives to GCSEs.
  • A-level subjects: GCE A level in a biological science, or equivalent. You must have a minimum of one A Level, or equivalent. Points from A Level General Studies and AS Level subjects (not taken onto full A Level) can be included towards overall tariff.
  • EDEXCEL (BTEC) Diploma: BTEC National Diploma/Certificate/Award in a related area
  • Access: Access to Higher Education course.
