About this course

This specialty focuses on highly professional knowledge closely related to human habitat. The knowledge is mainly based on natural landscape, ecological environment, land use, climatic change, prevention and reduction of natural disasters, and emphasizes physical geography. The graduates can engage in teaching, scientific and management works related to geographic science and work in scientific research institutions, land, environment, water resources, forest, and other related governmental departments and enterprises.

Entry Requirements

Step 1:Complete online application

Step2: Download application form from the online application system, fill out, print it out and sign


Step3: Submit all the application materials


Step4: Wait for Admission Notice and Visa Application Form (JW202 Form) for about 45 days or more


Step5: Apply for an F or X visa with the Admission Notice and JW 202 Form

 at Chinese Embassy in applicant's home country

Step6: Register at SYSU by the deadline indicated in the Admission Notice upon your arrival
