About Shanghai Jianqiao University

Shanghai Jianqiao University established in 2000, by Shanghai Jiaoqiao Group. The university is a full-time educational institution of higher learning  with undergraduate education as its mainline. The school is entitled to grant Bachelor degrees and Associate Bachelor degrees, are approved by the Ministry of Education in China.

The university focuses on teaching and learning as central task, and cultivating students to obtain innovative and practical skills through close cooperation with businesses and enterprises. Shanghai Jianqiao University is a young, energetic and dynamic school. After ten years of fast development, it has become one of the leading private universities in China.

The school is composed of six colleges and one special department. They are Business School, College of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, College of Journalism and Communication, College of Art Design, College of Foreign Languages, College of Information Technology and Nursing Department. Tourism management, journalism and communication, computer science and technology are its key disciplines fully supported by school authorities.

Accumulatively more than 19300 students have  graduated from the university and more than 12400 full time students are on campus now. The school has established close cooperative relationships with a number of foreign colleges and universities from the United States, Great Britain, Australia, Japan and etc.

Campus information

The location of Shanghai Jianqiao University is between Shanghai’s two major international  airports (Hongqiao Airport and Pudong Airport), in Pudong New Area. It is close to the Bund and Lujiazui CBD in Pudong with convenient subway and bus connections. Covering an area of 32.5 hectares, the university is a modern, garden-like one, with campus being fabulous and facilities advanced.

Public transportation to Siping Campus

  • By subway no.4 Line, you can stop at Century Avenue, and then walk to the bus station named Huaxia west road and take the Nannan Line to the Jianqiao University station
  • By subway no.6 Line, you can stop at Huaxia west road, and then walk to the bus station called Huaxia west road and Dongming road station and take the Nannan Line to the Jianqiao University station
  • By subway no.2 Line, you can stop at Zhangjiang Gaoke Station, and then take a taxi to 1700 Kangqiao road, Shanghai Jianqiao University
  • The nearest bus lines are no.632, Nannan road and no.1 Zhoukang road.

From Pudong International Airport to Siping Campus

  • By Subway no.2 Line to Zhangjiang Gaoke Station first, then walk out to the main campus by taxi. (Underground fee: 3 yuan and taxi fee: 25 yuan approximately)
  • By taxi from the airport to the main campus directly (the minimum taxi fee: 84 yuan approximately)

From HongqiaoAirport to Siping Campus

  • By Taxi (the minimum taxi fee: 102 yuan approximately)
  • By Subway No. 2 Line to Zhangjiang Gaoke Station first, then walk  out to the main campus by taxi. (Underground fee: 5yuan and taxi fee: 25yuan approximately)
