About Beihang University
Beihang University is one of the highest ten ranking engineering universities in China. Beihang University was established in October 25, 1952. It was previously known as Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics; it changed to the present name in May 1988.
Today, Beihang University has 48 undergraduate programs, 144 masters' programs, 49 doctoral programs, and 14 postdoc stations. In the present time Beihang University has 26 schools and departments. Beihang University has approximetely total number of faculty and staff are over 3300, including 16 academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences or Chinese Academy of Engineering, more than 1700 full or associate professors, 476 supervisors of doctorate programs.
