About Australian Institute of Music

The Australian Institute of Music (AIM) is the most major tertiary music institution in Australia, with its huge emphasis on being a leading independent education provider and private not-for-profit institution in industries such as music, entertainment, and performing arts. Interesting fact about AIM is that before it is now recognised nationally, it began as an institution called the Sydney Guitar School in the late 60’s.

AIM now runs two other national campuses in Sydney and Melbourne, while also providing an assortment of fully accredited music diplomas, degrees, and masters programs available anywhere in the country.

The institute highly believes that students that are accepted into AIM consist of only the best with exceptional standards. AIM aspires to mold both local and international students to make great contributions of their own to the global economy in the field of performance, creative and management arts.
