The campus opened its door in March 2004 and consists of:

Efficient bus transportation system is available from the college hostel to the main campus. The transportation service is provided based on the following:

  • Commutes from the college hostel to campus
  • All enrolled students who are hostel occupants are eligible to use the bus transportations
  • Schedule of bus Is drawn as per class schedule
  • Operations start early morning and ends in the evening as per class schedule
  • Special services provided for college activities
  • Bus drivers are trained to ensure safety of students at all time during their ride
  • Bus drivers are given a clear instructions and guidance to manage the trips during the day

  • Putra Intelek International College was awarded 'Tier 5: Excellent Category' rating in the College-Based Category on the Malaysian Quality Evaluation System for Private Colleges 2010/2011.
  • 5 Star College and scored Top 23 in Malaysia. 
  • Putra Intelek International College has established a foundation known as Putra Foundation Fund to administer the issuance of RM6 million worth of scholarship to Malaysian students.

Admission Process


Application process is different for Malaysian and International students. Please read carefully the information given below.

Malaysian students

Malaysian students can visit our campus for FREE counseling and apply on the spot:

  • Monday-Friday: 9am-6pm
  • Saturday: 9am-1pm

International students

Complete the Registration Form (including Part F to H) and submit with the following documents:

  • A certified copy of evidence of your English language proficiency (if applicable)
  • 1 photocopy of main pages (details/picture) of passport
  • Certified copies of your high school/higher learning institutions attached (to provide certified translation if it is in another language)
  • 4 passport size photographs
  • Health examination report has been endorsed by a registered physician
  • Initial payment of USD 1000 as Application Fee, Student Visa, Registration Fee and Medical Insurance, to be made payable to 'Intellect-Ed Sdn. Bhd.' by bank draft.
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) (for students from Sub Sahara Africa only; endorsed by the Ministry of Education in your country)
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) (for students who use entry qualification from Sub-Sahara countries)

Once the Application Form has been received with complete documentation and payment, the Letter of Offer and payment receipt will be issued and sent to you within 4 weeks.

Putra Intelek International College will proceed to apply for your Student Pass from Malaysia.

All international students are required to apply for a Student Pass to study in Malaysia. It will usually take at least 2 months to obtain approval for a Student Pass. Hence, you are advised to submit your application 2 ½ months prior to the commencement date of each intake.

Upon approval of the Student Pass, Putra Intelek will send you an Approval Letter from the Malaysian Immigration Department. You will need this letter when you:

  1. apply for Entry Visa to Malaysia (see stage 5), AND
  2. arrive in Malaysia, at the immigration clearance at the airport.

Important note: Journey Performed Visa

If you arrive in Malaysia before the student pass is approved, you may have to pay RM500 to the Malaysian Immigrations Department as processing fee for a Journey Performed Visa. If you are in this circumstance, i.e. your student pass has yet to be approved, and then you are REQUIRED to enter Malaysia with a return air ticket. Without the return air ticket, you will not be allowed to enter Malaysia.

Obtain an Entry Visa to Malaysia at the nearest Malaysian Embassy/Consulate Office. To apply for Entry Visa, you must have Letter of Offer, Approval Letter, and your passport.
