About Foundation in General Sciences

The Foundation of General Sciences offers students a great opportunity to advance to university to pursue their degree of choice. The Foundation equips students with strong, basic mathematics and science knowledge (biology, chemistry and physics) along with subjects in information technology and English to prepare them for the degree level.

Students who complete the Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 are guarenteed an admission into the Bachelor degree programmes under MUST, and may also apply to other private universities in Malaysia. Students who achieve a CGPA of 3.0 or above qualify for partial scholarships under MUST. 

Entry Requirements

• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with 5 credits including English Language, Mathematics and 2 Science subjects; or
• O-Level or equivalent; or
• Pass programmes which are accredited by Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) or equivalent; or
• Other qualifications from school/local or international colleges which are recognizes by Malaysian Government
